Named after Yuanqu’s five major rivers and the mysterious Wulong Spring, Wulong( literally meaning “five dragons”) Building is a national three-star hotel with business and leisure, accommodation, catering, public bathing, etc. as the main business. It is a subsidiary of Shanxi Wulong Investment Group. Having been discussed and decided by the board of directors of the group, the company was renamed Yuanqu Wulong Hotel Service Co., Ltd. in 2012 with the approval of the Industrial and Commercial Bureau. It is located at the intersection of Lishan Road and Shunwang Street, which is a busy commercial area of Yuanqu County.

Covering an area of 8,836 square meters, the company has a construction area of 15,230 square meters with a total investment of more than 80 million yuan. There are six operating departments including Guest Room Department, Beijing Flavor Restaurant, Wulong Hotel, Mama’s Flavor Hotpot, Penghu Bay Leisure Club, Wulong Bathhouse and five service departments including Finance Department, Office, Purchasing and Supply Department, Logistics Office and Security Department. In 2013, its annual revenue was 23,449,803 yuan, handing in a total tax of 503,709 yuan while in 2014 it yielded annual revenue of 21,507,644 yuan, contributing a total tax of 782404 yuan. The number of employees has grown from 60 to nearly 400. Since it opened in 1990, with the strong support of all sectors, all Wulong employees have been adhering to the tenet of "Service of Sincerity, Pursuit of Perfection", attracting most guests from Hedong and also others from the surrounding areas, making Wulong Building a graceful and influential first-class hotel of high-quality in Yuanqu County and even Yuncheng City.

The Guest Room Department is in charge of two parts, i.e. VIP Building and Yuebin Building, with a business area of 6057 square meters. They started business in October 1990. There are 100 rooms in total including deluxe suites, deluxe double rooms, deluxe business rooms, deluxe single rooms, high-end suites, double rooms, single rooms, and general rooms. In February 2003, it was assessed as a national two-star hotel by the Municipal Tourism Bureau, and promoted to a national three-star hotel in November 2008.

The Wulong Hotel has a business area of 1177 square meters, including a festive wedding hall for 180 people, and 13 luxurious private rooms named after "the most famous five lakes, four seas and four rivers in China". It can accommodate 350 people for dining at the same time, mainly providing dishes of local flavor.
